I am a fourth year PhD student co-supervised by Boris Lenhard and Matthias Merkenschlager at the MRC Clinical Sciences Centre. My project involves using both computational and molecular biology to investigate how the cohesin complex regulates gene expression. I’m interested in how the genome is organised within the nucleus and how this relates to gene expression.
Previously I studied at the University of Cambridge, where I obtained a BA in Natural Sciences (Genetics) and an MSci in Systems Biology. My MSci project was on protein-protein interaction networks in yeast, in the group of M. Madan Babu at the MRC LMB.
