I am a first year PhD student, supervised by Boris Lenhard at the MRC Clinical Sciences Centre, working on the regulatory properties of Conserved Noncoding Elements. These are intronic or intergenic elements, more conserved than coding exons at the sequence level and found across the bilateria surroundin developmental regulators, but whose function remains poorly understood. (See a recent review by other members of the group.)

I previously studied at Cambridge University, where I read Genetics as part of the Natural Sciences Tripos and undertook postgraduate study on the MPhil course in Computational Biology.
