I work on a project aimed to discover core promoter classes and ultimately understand the role of promoter architecture in development. I am currently implementing the CAGE protocol.

I obtained a PhD degree in Chemistry at the Chemistry Department, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Science with a thesis entitled “Proofreading activities of leucyl-tRNA synthetase prevent noncanonical mistranslation of Escherichia coli proteome” under mentorship of prof. dr. sc. Ita Gruic-Sovulj. Previously, I obtained a BSc and a MSc degree in Molecular Biology from Division of Biology, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb.
